Něco málo o mně
Jmenuji se Monika Štěpková. Jsem matkou tříleté dcerky Barborky, která od začátku prosince chodí s veselou náladou do školky. Od ledna se mi splnil můj sen a pracuji v jednom moc krásném knihkupectví jako prodavačka. Svou práci neberu jako práci, ale jako koníček. Miluju své pracovní prostředí a zbožňuji, když mohu lidem doporučit nějaký ten krásný papírový poklad :) A ještě lepší je následující zpětná vazba.
Je mi šestadvacet let. V devatenácti jsem úspěšně ukončila studium na střední škole zaměřené na hotelový provoz a cestovní ruch. Poté jsem strávila rok na pomaturitním studiu angličtiny, kde jsem si čím dál tím víc začala uvědomovat, že chci být celý život v kontaktu s knihami a jazykem. A proto jsem se přihlásila na vysokou školu, obor Filologie (český jazyk a anglický jazyk se zaměřením na vzdělávání). Tuto školu jsem bohužel úspěšně nedokončila, protože jsem otěhotněla a na první místo se dostala má dcerka. Ničeho nelituji. Má touha být v kontaktu s knihami mě neopustila, ba naopak. Každým dnem je čím dál tím větší a já zbožňuji, když dcerku večer uložím do postýlky a já si mohu jít nerušeně číst. Akorát je velká škoda, že toho volného času na čtení nemám tolik, kolik bych si přála.
Ke knihám vedu i svou dcerku. Již od doby, kdy jsem byla těhotná, jsem svému "břichu" nahlas předčítala a dle blaženého pokopování jsem soudila, že se jí to líbí. Ve čtení pokračujeme i teď, každý den. Není nic krásnějšího než když ke mně Baru přijde s knížkou v ruce a říká mi: "Maminko, číst plosííííííím." Doufám, že jí tato láska ke knihám zůstane po celý život.
Chtěla bych se vám představit co nejvíce, tak bych vám ráda o sobě napsala několik věcí, bez kterých bych v současné době nemohla fungovat a pár také těchvěci, které naopak z celé duše nesnáším. Budu ráda za jakoukoliv vaší zpětnou vazbu :)
- Nejvíce ze všeho miluji svou dcerku. Vím, že se to může zdát jako fráze každé matky, ale svou dceru se snažím, i když ne vždy to je možné, řadit na první místo. Barborka je hodně aktivní dítko, takže zbožňuji ty chvíle, kdy si můžeme sednou k malování nebo když můžeme něco vyrábět. A úplně nejraději mám, když mi přinese knížku a čteme si. Poslední dobou jí baví strašně vyprávět příběhy podle obrázků. Takže mým úkolem je dávat jí doplňující otázky a občas kroutit hlavou nad tím, co ta její šikovná hlavička dokáže občas vymyslet :)
- Mou vášní jsou knihy. Je to asi celkem zřejmé, že? Ale knihy pro mě nejsou jen nějakou volnočasou aktivitou. Jsou pro mě mou závislostí. Beru je jako své dětičky, kterým se věnuji s maximální a důkladnou péčí :) Miluji jejich vůni. I přesto, že se v práci denodenně setkávám stále s novými tituly na knižním trhu, pokaždé si najdu trochu toho času ke každé z nich přičichnout a prolistovat si jimi. Zbožňuji vůni papíru, co zbožňuji, jsem na ní přímo závislá :D Ale zase to považuji za jednu z těch lepších závislostí, které nijak neohrožují zdraví, ale pouze obohacují a dělají mě šťastnější.
- Je tomu asi osm měsíců, co jsem se začala věnovat pravidelnému cvičení, které se pro mě stalo další závislostí. Převážně cvičím s Jillian Michaels, pravděpodobně jste se již se jménem této oblíbené trenérky setkali a pokud ne, tak se s ní třeba jednou budete chtít blíže seznámit :) Já se s Jillian setkávám pravidelně každý den v obývacím pokoji před televizí a trávím s ní půl hodinku svého volného času. Cvičení mě naplňuje ve všech směrech - cítím se jako znovuzrozená, mám ze sebe lepší pocit, mám lepší držení těla, nebolí mě záda a mám častější úsměv na rtech.
- Čtení knihy se nedokáži představit bez dobrého hrnku čaje a nebo rozpustné kávy s mlékem. Ke čtení si strašně ráda zapaluji vonné svíčky, které dokáží vykouzlit tu správnou atmosféru. A asi to bude znít některým i divně, ale při čtení si strašně ráda pustím nějaké dobré CD. Ačkoliv se někdo při hudbě nemůže na čtení soustředit, mně to nedělá problém.
- Ráda vařím a peču. Někomu se to opět může zdát jako otřepaná mateřská fráze, ale vaření mě opravdu naplňuje. Od té doby, co cvičím, experimentuji se zdravou stravou. Začala jsem vařit ze zdravých potravin, častěji se v našem jídelníčku objevuje sojové maso, které jsem nějaký čas nemusela, ale nyní jsem propadla jeho kouzlu. Hlavně se řídím heslem, že jím proto, abych žila, už ne že jím proto, abych jedla :)
- A teď k tomu co nemám ráda. Nemám ráda falešné lidi, kteří se snaží hrát si na kamarády a pak vás vzápětí zradí. V životě jsem si již několikrát natloukla nos, takže se více rozmýšlím, než si někoho připustím blíže k tělu.
- Jsem pověrčivá. No, pátek třináctého už mě jen tak nerozhodí, ale každé ráno se snažím vstát z postele pravou nohou, hledám čtyřlístky pro štěstí, šlapu na kulaté kanály. No a určitě by se toho našlo daleko více, ale to by vydalo na další, pořádně dlouhý článek.
